Willow Park Tower
|
Willow Park/Hudson Oaks: The Willow Park tower
is located about 3 miles due north of I-20 and Ranch
House road, on White Settlement road. This tower
services all of Willow Park, most of Hudson Oaks. Its
coverage area is
represented by the northern circle in the coverage
map.
The 300-ft
tower is located on White Settlement Rd, approximately 2
miles due west of Farmer Rd, and 3-1/2 miles due north
of the I-20 / Ranch House Road intersection.
When looking for the tower, start by looking for the doppler radar
tower. It looks like a large golf-ball on top of a 100'
tower. The Aledo BroadBand tower is the 300' tower right
next to it. It has white strobe light on the top and red
lights that blink at night.
The coverage area for this tower extends from the west side of
Weatherford Lake (Hwy 51), almost to Springtown (Veal Station Rd).
On the east, it extends out to Fort Worth (almost to 820, but not
including valley areas like Remuda).
If you can see the Willow Park tower from the roof of your home
(with no dense trees or buildings in the way), and you're less than 10 miles from the
tower, then you should have no problems getting a solid link.
